Hey, I'm Rick Heemskerk (also known as [BIDOGO])
I'm based in the Netherlands and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a cum laude Master's degree in Media Technology. Most of my work lives somewhere between art and technology, though it does not always need both.
What I Do
I paint. I draw. I build systems. I design and develop interactive projects. I experiment with animation and game-related ideas. Some projects can hang on walls, others will run on your web-browser. All of them are attempts to create something that leaves a lasting impression.
That has always been the goal, regardless of medium.
Approach
I like building cool things, properly.
I care about craft. About composition. About structure. Whether it is a canvas or a codebase, I like understanding the foundation before shaping it into something expressive.
I started my company to create under a professional umbrella. It allows me to collaborate, take on ambitious projects, and make cool things with cool people.

Interests
Outside of projects, my interests stretch wide: rock and metal music, tabletop systems, 3D printable miniatures, sketching and painting, animation, philosophy, mycology, and the occult.
